Last night was Zac's first game of the season. After falling behind due to a fumbled punt return and giving up a long run play in the first half, Shepherd finally got a break on a punt return for a touchdown and later an interception for a touchdown. The offense finally got it's wheels in the fourth quarter and scored the final touchdown of the game to seal the win.
Zac had a great game and played every down on the offense as Left Guard. He's been playing Center most of the spring and summer, but they made a move in the last week. He had several key blocks and very few mistakes. We could hear a few of his hits from the stands and we were nearly at the top of the bleachers.
