Shepherd had a tough test against the big running backs of Rhodes Jr. High. After falling behind 12 to 7 the defense finally found a way to stop the running attack as the offense found a nice rhythm. Zac played every down on offense again, and also became the long snapper because of an injury to the regular long snapper.
Zac did very well and had some nice blocks and also did a good job snapping. After going up 27 to 20 with the clock down to 2 and a half minutes, the game was called because of an electrical storm. The boo-ing from the other side lasted only a few seconds because a huge storm hit with a vengeance. The ride home was intense in the microbursts and rain.
