It sure is nice to have some cool weather down here. With Christmas Eve around the corner hopefully everyone is enjoying the party season and the shopping.
We have had a good time getting ready for Christmas. Jacob is done with his concert, Zac had his football awards dinner (he was nominated to the all-city team). It was fun to spend the evening with his team and coaches and it was interesting to hear what each of them had to say once they had a minute or two behind the microphone.
Jacob was the MC at the stake camporee... it's always an adventure when he gets a microphone, but he did a good job. We also enjoyed seeing Sam perform at his concert. Guys in choir are sure smart. There must have been about 6 girls for every guy in his choir. Stacie has been working hard. She has been working some extra hours at some of the sporting events at the Jr High where she works.
Though we are hoping the new year brings some needed blessings, we feel very blessed to have great friends and family.
